Explore Our InstitutionEstablished on July 7, 1993 by the Government of India, the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Perundurai, was created to strengthen elementary-level teacher education in Erode District.
Since 1995, DIET has produced more than 20 batches of trained teachers, with nearly 75% placed in Government primary and middle schools. The institute has played a crucial role in upgrading vocational teachers and empowering unemployed SC/ST graduates through specialized pedagogy and psychology training programs.
